By train
With its loop tunnels and dizzyingly high viaducts, the journey by Rhaetian Railway (RhB) from Chur - Tiefencastel – Engadine is among Europe’s most pituresque and interesting in terms of railway technology. Another option is to travel to the Engadine from Landquart via Klosters – Vereina Tunnel and thus reach Pontresina from Zurich HB (main station) in 3 hrs 19 min.
