Action-Packed Holidays in the Engadine Family Hotel
The simple truth about vacations with children is that the happier the kids are, the more rest and relaxation their parents get. At the Saratz, we have spared no effort to ensure that the little ones enjoy themselves to the full. From professional childcare to the Play Paradise – we have always made a point of prioritising our younger guests. So it won't come as a surprise that many of our children's facilities and services are attractively priced or even free – something their parents love too!
We also think it's great that we have been named BEST FAMILY HOTEL. First place in the current 2020 ranking of, the leading German-speaking travel magazine. - Supreme Happiness!
Our Family Offers
Our miniature golf course in the hotel park is a facility with a difference, and great fun for the entire family. The nine holes are punctuated by some exciting and often tricky additional challenges. So if you don't always hit the ball perfectly, you might be a natural-born talent on the slackline, a bowling ace or even balance your way back into pole position.
We are passionate about mountain biking and our mountain biking guests. And our commitment goes far beyond displaying a "Bike Hotel" sticker at the hotel entrance. We've even built our own flow trails in the hotel park; an approximately 100-metre mini flow trail for budding mini bikers, and a children's flow trail of almost half a kilometre length that beckons with thrills and fun galore. Not to mention the educational benefit – it also makes a perfect training ground for family mountain bike outings on the Engadine's numerous routes and trails.

Letting off steam works up a healthy appetite in even the tiniest of tots – at the Saratz, we have your little one's culinary needs covered too. In the Art Nouveau Dining Room, your child can choose either from the children's or the regular menu. The portion sizes on the regular menu are adapted to your child's appetite.
We are happy to organise a babysitter to care for children under the age of three at a rate of CHF 35.00 per hour.
The family-friendly Hotel Saratz beckons with fun and adventure galore. Children are often our most demanding guests, and that's why we pay particular attention to their needs – including professional childcare. Children need to do their own thing and let off steam. They want to play with their peers and make new friends. We aim to be the ideal hotel for children, and the Saratz Team spares no effort in putting this maxim into practice: in the Play Paradise, in the restaurants, in the park and not least when it comes to childcare. The little ones are happy, and their parents can undertake a longer excursion, relax or plan a romantic dinner for two without worries. That's what we call a win-win situation!
Learn to play, have fun - an oasis for happy kids
The bright and inviting Play Paradise is a haven for children over the age of three. Promoting the learning process and stimulating the play instinct of small children in a unique environment, the innovative Play Paradise concept was developed by Swiss radio presenter and communications consultant Sandra Schiess.
