As a contrast you find the first genuinely almost entirely vegetarian restaurant in Pontresina, Engadine. At the Giodi, we cook vegetarian dishes – on request with meat or fish in a supporting role. Enjoy food that is as healthy as it is pleasurable!

Fine Dining in Pontresina

While the Art Nouveau Dining Room exudes the elegance of a bygone era, the culinary delights are entirely of the present: Chef Kari Walker delights diners with dishes created with fresh, seasonal produce from trusted local suppliers. But what is fine food without the fine wines to accompany it? With over 270 wines in our cellar – including some true treasures – you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to selecting the perfect pairing for your meal.
A great way to start the day
The Art Nouveau Dining Room welcomes you in the morning with our sumptuous breakfast buffet. Look forward to locally sourced, tasty Engadine specialities. How about a piece of delicious cheese from the Pontresina Alpine Dairy or a slice of Engadine Salsiz sausage? We have a vast array of delicacies to suit all tastes: freshly-prepared egg dishes, crispy breads and rolls, pastries and fluffy croissants, mountain honey, homemade jam – we could go on. Not a morning person? Let our breakfast buffet win you over!
Non-resident diners are assured a warm welcome at our breakfast buffet in the Art Nouveau Restaurant. The buffet costs CHF 32.00 per person.
At dinner time, non-resident diners are welcome to choose their favourite dishes from a daily-changing 5-course menu. The regular a-la-carte price applies.
Breakfast: 7:30 to 11.00 hrs
Dinner: 18:30 to 22.00 hrs
The elegant Dining Room can be exclusively booked for your function of 80 or more diners.
Those who prefer it rustic will get their money's worth at La Cuort. The cozy fondue and raclette room with its 16 seats is located in the hotel's oldest vault. This restaurant is open over the winter and for groups on request. We are also happy to offer wine tastings as a team event or for an aperitif from 10 people.
If you've booked a half-board package but fancy dining out for a change, the Pontresina hotels have an attractive proposition for you. From Sunday to Thursday, the Dine Around scheme allows you to enjoy a four-course meal at one of our Pontresina partner hotels for CHF 75.00 per person. Our team at the reception desk will be happy to give you more information.

Snacks & Relax is the motto at Café Bagnera. Located by our 200-square-metre outside swimming pool in the romantic hotel park, the Café Bagnera team look forward to pampering guests on sunny summer days with tasty snacks, crisp salads and refreshing drinks. Of course you can take dip in the pool if you wish… but you don't have to.
